The past few days I have been in Bombay again. We have been waiting around until today for the Christian Media Awards, in which David is receiving an award. For those who need some perspective of this awards ceremony this awards ceremony is in the same category as the Christian Dove Awards. So this is going to be such an honor for David and his team for doing such a great job for many years. As we have talked about this award David has been so humble in reverting his success to God and His blessings upon David throughout the years. I will be taking picture for David so that he can cherish this big day for the service and work he has done for God’s Kingdom.
I believe that tomorrow will be the day we catch the train to go to Damoh, where David and Sheila have their home. I will finally get a chance to settle down and feel at ease because we have been in the big city since I have been here. I am looking forward to getting to see the smaller towns of India.
Yesterday I was able to meet some incredible brothers and sisters in Christ. I climbed part way up a coconut tree and ate my first Indian meal with only my hands. It was definitely a great day of firsts and I am learning a ton about the Indian culture. Each day there are new things to be learned. Last night I was able to sleep very hard through most of the night, but I have been taking sleeping pills to aid in staying asleep. Hopefully whenever I get to Damoh I will be adjusted to the time zone and able to sleep and operate normally.
As for prayer requests I ask that you pray for our safety as we travel to Damoh tomorrow. It is about a 19 hour train ride from Bombay to Damoh. Wow! I think this may put to shame the 15 hour plane ride on the way over here. I hope that my battery in my ipod and computer stay charged for 19 hours. No, it will be ok. We will be traveling throughout the night so I will be able to sleep most of the way. Anyways keep us in your prayers tomorrow as we travel. Whenever I get to Damoh I will try to upload some pictures so that you can see what I have been doing.

p.s. the awards ceremony was great. David received a great honor. It was an honor to be there with him.
